The Buddy Project
The Buddy Project is an organization dedicated to making the lives of people with disabilities more independent through technology.
The Buddy Project provides refurbished computers to those who are intellectually, developmentally, and/or physically challenged. These individuals have limited access and shy away from technology due to limited knowledge and interaction. We hope to provide them with improved access that is available today and to help them become more independent and productive citizens. Continuing to make people with intellectual and developmental disabilities more independent in the community, and in the workplace.
Upcoming Events
September 21, 2010 -- The "Art and Wine" show will be held on September 21, 2010 at the Blue Elephant in downtown Frederick. All proceeds from this event will go to The Buddy Project. Additionally, all art work will be from local artists. With great door prizes being offered, we look forward to meeting you at this event! P.S -Bring as many guests as you would like!
